# Math (6 Weeks)

During the prekindergarten years, children build their mathematical understandings as they progress through sequenced opportunities to explore math skills. This includes, but is not limited to, the use of informal representations (concrete, pictorial, and abstract) and developing problem solving skills. The math section of the Pre-K Outcomes Framework incorporates outcomes from the Mathematics Domain of the Texas Prekindergarten Guidelines.
